Daniel was a reenactor since the early 1990s. He started out doing Renaissance period, moving in 1999 into the American Colonial period. In 2003, he decided to focus on a Scottish persona, due to a strong Scottish family heritage.
Daniel was a member of Clann Nan Con since 2006.
Most recently Daniel was active in recreating Viking life with a group based in Georgia. He frequently provided on blacksmithing demonstrations.
He had ancestral links to Clans Burns, Campbell, Douglas, Forrester, Fraser, Lamont, MacDonald, & Walker.
Daniel departed this life suddenly in the fall of 2019. He is missed by all who knew him.
