Fort Frederica National Monument – 18th Century British town located on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Fort King George State Historical Park – occupied by the British army circa 1720 and the Darien Highlanders beginning in 1736. Darien, Georgia.
Culloden Battlefield Park – Owned and operated by the National Trust of Scotland, the site of the final battle during the 1745 Jacobite rebellion. Near Inverness, Scotland.
Castillo de San Marcos – originally constructed in the 16th century, this Spanish fort saw active service until World War II. St. Augustine, Florida.
Fort Mose Historic State Park– believed to be the first community of free black people in North America. Site of British defeat in 1740. Located just north of St. Augustine, Florida.
