Neil has been a reenactor since 1994. He joined Clann Nan Con in 2003. He was appointed Clan Bard in 2005 & swore fealty to the clan on February 10, 2006.
His musical “sidelines” include bugling, vocal, tin whistle and bodhran drum music of the Civil War and earlier periods.
Neil is also a member of the Historical Artillery Association, A.H. Stephens Light Artillery, Knapp’s Battery, 35th GA Volunteer Infantry, 37th GA Infantry (N-SSA)
Neil’s Celtic roots are from County Clare Ireland. Cultural ties include Irish Citizenship and membership in the Donegal Society of Wilkes-Barre PA. He also has strong ties to members of the Clan Buchanan.
